Historical research and ancestry queries now account for much of the growing interest in family history. The museum is home to many hard-copy books, newspapers, diaries, memoirs and military papers as well as an extensive online resource of scanned documents. We are endeavouring to transcribe many of the historical records from the district including RAAF papers from the WWII aerodrome.
The museum has an invaluable team of experienced volunteers who can undertake family history research on your behalf. We request that research queries are accompanied by a donation to enable us to maintain the museum into the future.
