I’ve attended many of Diane’s workshops and always walked away with valuable new knowledge.

The course will be presented by Diane Smith who has extensive research skills both with her own Family History and that of others. In 2017 Diane graduated from the University of Tasmania (UTAS) with a Diploma of Family History being in the 2nd group ever to graduate from this newly established course.
In 2018 after receiving her DNA results, she embarked on a journey of discovering how DNA could enhance her own family history research. This led to starting a DNA Special Interest Group and being selected as an ambassador for the 2019 DNA Down Under Tour held by Unlock the Past.
Diane has a simple clear approach in helping you understand how to research your Family History.  Come along and you just might discover some interesting and previously unknown history about your ancestors.

Diane helps people break through the myriad of information when they encounter “brick walls” in their research.
